She was a semi-finalist for the Katherine Paterson Prize for YA Literature, as well as for Canada’s Arthur Ellis Award (Unhanged category). She reads obscure fiction in English and French, and doesn’t know why Quebec isn’t more often a mise en scène for romantic suspense. After the Winter and The Au Pair are the first two books of a series, The Ashley Smeeton Files.
