Cameron, J.B.

Cameron JDJ.B. Cameron

The fun, believable characters who populate the tales of New Brunswick author, J.B. Cameron, are the result of a rather unorthodox style of writing that he employed early on in his career to help him develop lengthy novels. He usually writes the first drafts in the form of a screenplay, allowing him to focus completely on the pacing, plot, atmosphere, and characters of his books in a more fluid and dynamic way. Once the tale is complete in this format, the script serves as a template when fleshing out the actual story, allowing him to cherry pick elements from his first pass that work and easily rewrite things that don't. The result is a book that is so vivid at times, it will make you feel as though you're watching it on television.

Presently, he has three novels and a companion novella completed of a planned five-book paranormal police procedural comedy adventure series, entitled Reading The Dead: The Sarah Milton Chronicles. He also dabbles in science fiction and horror short stories, an ongoing zombie adventure series on Wattpad, and Magpie & Jynx, a run of urban fantasy novellas for a multi-author collaborative series entitled "The Twin Cities Series." Future works on his desk include a comical Jim Butcher-style paranormal detective series and four additional novellas, spanning multiple genres.

When he's not head-first into his imaginary worlds or working in the capacity of an eLearning developer, J.B. Cameron enjoys PC gaming, graphics design, writing online interactive fiction, and other pursuits that make his inner geek squeal with delight.

Previews of his novels and free copies of his urban fantasy books are always available to new readers from his Instafreebie page at https://instafreebie.com/author/JBCameron
