Rosemary McCracken
Born and raised in Montreal, Rosemary has worked on newspapers across Canada as a reporter, arts reviewer, editorial writer, and editor. She is now a Toronto-based fiction writer and teaches novel writing at George Brown College.
Rosemary’s first mystery novel, Safe Harbor, introduces her financial planner sleuth, Pat Tierney. Safe Harbor was shortlisted for Britain’s Crime Writers’ Association Debut Dagger in 2010, and published by Imajin Books in 2012. The second Pat Tierney mystery, Black Water, was published in 2013, followed by Raven Lake in 2016 and Uncharted Waters in 2020. Jack Batten, the Toronto Star’s crime fiction reviewer, calls Pat “a hugely attractive sleuth figure.”
