Jaroslav (Jerry) Petryshyn
Jaroslav (Jerry) Petryshyn holds a PhD from Western University. An award-winning author, he taught history for over 30 years before becoming a Dean at Grande Prairie Regional College. He served as the Alberta representative on the Historical Sites and Monuments Board of Canada and chairperson of the 2005 Alberta History Centennial Project. He has published numerous historical books and a recent poetry collection. He also writes a regular column, 'Armchair Guide To Exotic Saloons,' for 'Old Autos'.
