Barry D. Freeman
Barry D. Freeman has been a paperboy, TV studio cameraman, award-winning film editor, museum manager, scriptwriter, satellite TV/internet installer, video producer, and photographer. He has also worked in a mushroom factory, flown over the Rocky Mountains in a single-engine fabric covered antique plane, and lived for 30 years on a horse ranch without learning to ride a horse. Widowed in 2020, he finally found time to complete his first novel Sideslip at the age of seventy-eight.
Still living on the horse farm in Western Alberta he travels, when possible, photographing landscapes, and mows the grass in the summer while waiting for the quiet and isolation of the deep winter to get back to writing full time to complete his next novel.
