The Miller Martin award for Best Crime Fiction Novel
The Miller Martin award for Best Crime Fiction Novel, sponsored by the Boreal Benefactor, is dedicated to three stellar writers who are no longer with us. One was a novelist, a true wise woman with a trenchant sense of humour and a deft way with crafting stories. One was a poet, who used that form to share his reflections on life and war. The third was a songstress and constant correspondent who wove people, ideas, and words together like a bright, ever-growing quilt. All three were voracious readers of mystery, history, and biography. The Boreal Benefactor is a Canadian author, who chooses to remain anonymous.
