About the Author
Pam Barnsley is a former newspaper reporter and snowboard instructor whose work has appeared in magazines, ad copy, and on CBC television and radio. Harbour Publishing published her non-fiction book Hiking Trails of the Sunshine Coast. Her crime novel The River Cage is set in Whistler in the world of Paralympic athletes, whitewater kayakers, and mountain bikers. An earlier version of this novel was shortlisted for the Crime Writers of Canada Best Unpublished Novel.
Pam lives with her multi-generational family in Whistler and Comox, BC. When she’s not working on the next in the detective Swift series, Bed of Lies, Pam enjoys kiteboarding, snowboarding and growing whatever the garden leprechauns allow.
